Types of websites

The internet is full of a wide array of different types of websites. Some are informative, some are interactive. These websites range in complexity depending on the type of business, the reasons for having a website and desired business outcomes.

Brochure websites

A brochure website is as its name implies - an online brochure. It provides information to your potential internet customers. These websites are the cheapest, and the quickest to configure.

Brochure websites are likely to include information about your company, the products or services that you provide, and contact details. It may also include an online contact form to enable potential customers to contact you easily via your website.

Custom websites

A custom website is just that! We will configure the design and functionality to meet your business needs.

If you have a specific requirement which may be a little more complex, then it may fall into this category. Perhaps you are considering offering products for sale via your website and need a "shopping cart"? Perhaps you have a club that needs a website to inform members of future events? These are both examples of websites that fall under the "custom website" category.

Please contact the elves to tell us what you have in mind, so that we can discuss your ideas further.

Keeping your website "fresh"

Websites with out dated information will not win many new customers!
You should aim to update your website at least once a year with some new information.

If your products or services remain the same, maybe you could add new photos, feature a special story, or run a competition? How about adding testimonials from satisfied customers, or profiling changes in your industry? There are many possibilities.

Once your website has been created, it needs to be hosted on a server for the world to see.
