Once your website has been published online, you can tell the world all about it! The more people that view it, the more people are likely to recommend it!
There are many ways to advertise your website. Here are some ideas:

To help you get started, Website Elves will send you our personally compiled list of internet directories. This will provide you with a ready made resource so that you can start promoting your new website.
There are many different directories to choose from and not all of these will be right for your business. Most of these sites offer free listings, as well as paid listings. We recommend that you review the options and choose the sites and advertising levels that most suit your business and budget.
Business Cards
Once you have a new website, you will want to ensure that your business cards advertise your website, and entice potential customers to visit your place of business online.
Website Elves can assist you with business cards which match the design concept of your website. We will design a business card using a similar theme to your website, and after your approval, will arrange the printing of the cards for you.
Like our websites, our business card packages are very affordable!
In fact, we won't charge you anything extra to design your stunning new business cards! (Business card design is free if your website is designed by Website Elves).
Cards come in quantities of 250, 500 or 1000 cards, with printing on one or both sides. Our business cards are available in either standard or glazed 310gsm card. The glazing gives the card extra protection against wear and tear giving it a longer life, and is available in either matt or gloss.

Search engines
In order for your website to be found online, it needs to be able to be found by the Search Engines. Website Elves provides basic Search Engine Optimisation for all of our websites.
One of the methods that we recommend is using key words. It is important that you use words that are descriptive and relevant in your text. We do ask you to provide us with a list of words and phrases that potential customers may use in their search to find you online.
In addition to this, Website Elves will submit your new website onto the three major search engines (Google, Yahoo and MSN) for you as part of your web design package.
If you want your website to be submitted to any additional search engines, you could either do this yourself, or contact us with the details so that we can give you a quote.
You will need to be patient as it can take many months to be listed permanently on these search engines.
Google Adwords
If you are interested in immediate exposure, you may like to investigate Google Adwords. This is where you pay a nominal fee every time someone clicks on your sponsored link ('pay per click').
This is easy to set up and you can be in control of the level of advertising spending. The Elves will point you in the right direction and answer any questions you may have.
Free website statistics
Website Elves will get you up and running with Google Analytics. This free reporting program will provide you with some very interesting statistics on your website.
Examples include the most viewed pages, how your visitors found your website, new vs. existing visitors etc. The data is presented visually, so is easy to read and can be reviewed quickly.
