Because of our flexible design solution, our websites can be constructed more efficiently. Website Elves will provide you with a 10 page website for less than what other similar website developers are charging for only 3 or 4 pages.
You can't get better value than that!
Brochure website costs
Our price for the setup of a basic brochure website is just $395.00 + GST.
A brochure website will include the following features :
- up to 10 web pages of content
- an online contact form
Costs above do not include domain name registration, copy writing, graphics, photo editing or website hosting.
Custom website costs
Custom websites will cost more than brochure websites. Just how much more depends on your individual requirements.

Domain name costs
We have endeavoured to locate domain name vendors who offer the best prices. Our current favourite vendors charge the following:
- a ".com" domain will cost you US$ 9.95 per year
- a ".co.nz" domain will cost US$ 38.00 for 2 years
- a ".co.au" domain will cost US$ 30.00 for 2 years
These prices are correct as at 31 Dec 2007 and are subject to change.
Cost of hosting
If you choose to arrange the hosting of your website through Website Elves, the cost of this service will be just $14.95 plus GST per month, or $159.00 + GST per annum (a saving of $20.40).
Our generous hosting package consists of:
- up to 10 email addresses
- 20GB of storage
- 100GB of monthly data traffic
Additional storage and/or monthly data traffic is available. Prices will be available on request.
Should you choose to make your own hosting arrangements, there will be a one-off setup fee of $75 + GST. This is to cover the time it takes to configure the hosting platform, email accounts and ftp access.
Maintenance plans
Website Elves offer a three tiered maintenance plan to assist you with keeping your website up to date as your business changes.
The plan details are as follows:
Gold
$95 plus GST per month, billed monthly.
Gold plan includes website maintenance of up to 2 hours per month and priority service. This suits a website which has a large number of frequent changes - eg monthly specials, seasonal product lines/services, frequent price changes, or regular product upgrades.
Silver
$50 plus GST per month, billed monthly.
Silver plan includes website maintenance of up to 1 hour per month. This suits a moderately busy website which requires small but regular changes.
Bronze
This is our 'pay as you go' option.
Updates are made as requested and billed at the end of the month. Our hourly rate is $60 plus GST. If you request changes, there will be a minimum charge of $30 plus GST for that month. If there are no updates requested there is no charge.
Please be aware that each time your website is updated, it then needs to be "republished" onto the internet so that the latest version can be viewed. This process can take around 15 minutes and is chargeable. Therefore, it is recommended that updates be requested in batches so that it is more cost effective for you.
Any time you wish to make changes to your website, simply drop us an email and we will update your site for you as requested.
Maintenance plans do not have a minimum term and can be cancelled or changed at any time by notifying us via email.
